The Shawshank Redemption

                            The Shawshank Redemption is an american drama movie released on 1994, written and directed by Frank Darabont starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The movie portrays the story of Andy Dufrensne,Vice President of  a large Portland Bank. He had been sent to Shawshank prison for murdering his wife and a fella banging with her. All evidences was against Andy, even though he wasn’t  the real murderer.

                                During his time in prison, he  happened to met Ellis Red a fellow inmate. Andy became closer to Red and his gang. Andy managed to get a tiny hammer and a large poster of an actress with the help of red and his gang. Since Andy worked as banker , warden and Chief finds Andy to help them in money laundering operation. After some years another bunch of criminals came to Shawshank. Andy came to knew the details regarding the murderer of his wife and fella being murdered from a new fella just arrived in Shawshank. Andy then reports it to warden. But warden  refused him from another trial. Andy finds himself way to get rid from Shawshank with the help of tiny hammer he kept with him. Finally Andy managed to escape from Shawshank . During the time he spent in prison , he told red to visit Buxton when he get parole. After serving 40 years, Red receives parole and vistis Buxton. There he finds Andy’s address . Red then meets Andy and they rejoined happily.

                               Website addresses ending with .com is ending. The upcoming website addresses will be ending with suffix like ‘.bank’, ‘.Vegas’, etc. Today, more than 300 suffixes are available. Most of them includes country-code  domains such as ‘.uk’ for United Kingdom, .de for Germany. This brand new technology allows creation of thousands of suffixes applicable from industry to geography to ethnicity. But this technology made all businesses worry,since they have to take their own brand names before others do. It also makes confusion to the users as they navigate  a web address with unfamiliar labels.

                                                                                            In 2000, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)  has approved seven new domains, including .biz and .info. Big companies will rush to make their claims. The company Canon is planning to apply ‘ .Canon’. Bankers and other financial companies are also planning to bid for ‘.bank’, ‘.invest’ etc.

Create your own Media player- audio using visual basic

Media Player- Audio

                            We usually use various media player to play various video audio files.Just a second, anyone think about how it works? Let’s look into some basic functions of a media player. I created a simple media player(only audio files) using visual basic. The player consists of basic functionality keys including play, stop, next, previous and add tracks. User can add tracks by clicking the ‘Add’ button. Select the tracks that had been added and click ‘Play’ button to listen songs. User can go to each track by clicking ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ button.

                               For creating a media player shown above, you need Microsoft Visual Studio. In Microsoft Visual Studio, select visual basic and create a new project. Select toolbox from view tab. Right click in toolbox and select ‘Choose items’ and select ‘Com component’. Select windows media player from ‘Com component ‘ tab. This will be updated in toolbox. Now you can  just drag windows media player to your form. Add  relevant buttons to your form.Initially , add basic keys like Play, Stop, Pause, Add etc.After adding each button write code for each button. For ‘Play’ button double click the button in the form, then you can see the code section of the button. Make sure that you are in this section of code. Here Button2 refers ‘play’ button

Save Earth

Pollution and global warming are some of the major threats to earth.Pollutions are of different type.Air pollution,water pollution,noise pollution etc.
Increase of automobiles,factories etc are the major source of the air pollution and waste water from factories are the major source water pollution .
Global warming is the increase of temperature in the atmosphere.It is caused due to increase of carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere.This carbon dioxide prevents sun rays that reflects back from earth.Thus atmospheric temperature increases.Many glaciers are melting due to this increase of temperature.
Recycle Reduce and Reuse are the ways to prevents pollution.Its the time to save our earth.

India Vision-2020

Everyone likes to live in a developed nation.If somebody asks us ,whether India a developed nation,what will be our answer.Most of us will say ‘developing nation’.Why can’t our nation to be developed.

Its the time to change our vision about India.We can build our nation to be developed.First of all we can have a look on what are the ways that we have.We know that India is an agricultural country.Major income is from farming.What are contributions we can make in this sector.
Implementing modern methods of machines,introducing high yielding crops,allowing agricultural loans,encouraging agricultural sector are some of the ways to develop this sector.
Some other current problems in our nations are political fights,terrorism,unemployment etc.Only an ideal leader can lead a good nation.We can vanish terrorism by implementing more forces.If these sectors goes on developing ,automatically unemployment will not exists.Lets work for the development of our nation.Jai Hind.

Inspiration

The film I most inspired is ‘Taare Zameen Par’ directed by Aamir Khan,produced by Aamir Khan Productions.The film is based on the story of an eight year old boy ‘Ishaan’ who is suffering from dyslexia.Dyslexia means learning disability .Every subjects is diificult for Ishaan.Teachers blame him everytime.Finally his father decided to sent him boarding school. Ishaan wasn’t ready.But his father sent him to a boarding school.

Ishaan felt more worries at his boarding school.He feared all his teachers there.At this time a temporary art teacher came to his school.Aamir acts as the art teacher.Aamir came to knew about Ishaan’s unability and he invents his other ablities.Aamir came to knew that Ishaan was excel in drawing. One day Aamir visits Ishaan’s home and talk to his parents.Aamir tell them about dyslexia.Aaamir took remedial classes for Ishaan and took an extra care for him.Slowly Ishaan came out of his disability.This film much inspired me.Some times we blames our brother or sister as they didn’t high marks in mathematics ,science etc and we are not interested to see their other abilities.

Tobacco – Worse effects

We knew that wealth of a nation is the people living in that nation.People living in their nation can only uplift nation.For this we need healthy minds.Only healthy body can furnish a healthy mind.But most of us were forgotten this.Tobacco paves them to a pathetic world.

                                        Tobacco is one of the major threat to human health.Consumption of tobacco will results  in many health hazards like lung cancer ,oral cancer,diminished blood flow etc.Many peoples were suffering from these diseases due to the consumption of tobacco.Dental surgeons also proved that tobacco  damages our tooth.                                        

                                       Cigratte-smoking is the major reason for  90% of lung cancer.Smoke of tobacco inhaled from cigars damages the tissues in mouth,throat.larynx. Smoking of  tobacco is not only affecting to those who smoke but also to others exposed to it.Ingredients of tobacco leads to the early fall of teeth.Most of the people doesn’t knew the after effects of chewing tobacco.Giving awarness to them is needed first.Life is the most precious thing gifted by god.We decide whether to nurture it or spoil it.Its the time to think.So avoid tobacco and lead a healthy life.

Chicken a la Carte – A short film

This film is based on the theme food and hunger.Before seeing this film I was not aware of the people, who were died due to lack of food.Sometimes we show dislike to some dishes and sometimes we waste it .We waste food without thinking its value.This film aware us the value of food.

Food is the basic need of all living being.Without food  no one can live.Think a situation that there is no food and we are wandering for food.This film screens the situation that the people were wandering for food.How would we feel.We prays god for getting good positions , good job etc. But these fellows  prays god for food!In this  film ,we can see the pleasent faces , when they get food.See, how they values food.Think what we are doing.We can see many people in streets begging for food .They knew the value of food.They are eating waste food which had been wasted by us.We wastes food and they are eatying that wasted food.After seeing this film I understood the pathetic situation of people who were begging for food.Through this film the directior tried to show the value of food and I think he won his attempt.I suggest my friends to watch this short film and I am gurantee that this film surely inspires  alot.

Lead India – Times of India initiative

India is the largest democratic country in  the world.That is  people elect their leaders and they rule the country. Sometimes we  wishes for an opportunity as  I be the Prime Minister of India.Lead India offers  the opportunity for us. Lead India is a television initiative program.It was started on India’s 60th Independence day.One who wins the contest can participate in the India’s  next election.The  objective of the contest is to choose a new leader for the nation.Anyone having the vision and ability to uplift India can participate in the contest.

We hardly see  youth leading politics. Youth today to be motivated in such a manner as they lead for the progress ofthe nation.A leader having good education,ability to inspire,honest can only lead a nation to development.Everyone wants to live in a developed nation. In India first step for development should be forwarded in the agricultural and farming sector.By adopting modern ways of agiculture we  can improve our agricultural sector and can get good returns from the efforts.Likewise we can make development in other sectors.To make this real , we want an elegile leader.It is the time for the youth  to  contribute their visions for our nation and work for the rising of a new  India.
